What we’re about

B2B Networking for technology companies, startups and companies looking for technology solutions in the UK.

While primarily focussed on London area tech sector, companies worldwide with interest in the UK market can join this group for an opportunity to network with the UK companies.

The problem I have seen with a lot of tech startups is that they keep looking for funding and often fail in the process. Its great if you get the funding, but in my mind the startups have to be able to scale even if they do not get any funding.

Many of these companies could survive if they could simply find some paying customers or build their own distribution channels through B2B partnerships. Another problem is often the UK companies are focussed only in UK, EU or US markets while there is a whole world waiting for them if they look East where even cash strapped startups with high end technology could build distribution channels and partner networks easily and have a chance to scale easily without needing funding.

For example Indian market has high demand for high tech products and solutions and there are companies willing to be distribution partners/channel partners for UK startups who have any innovative or high-end products. So there is a possibility that if a startup could negotiate such a deal and build their network then they may be able to scale without any VC funding. It is just a matter of thinking of a startup as any other cash business instead of thinking of it as a technology offering. With one mindset startups could fail without funding and with other mindset they can scale even without funding. As in this example sometimes just they way you look at the business can have a big impact on the sustainability and scalability of that business regardless of the circumstances.

Similarly there are many Indian companies who are looking for partners for their products and services in the UK. If you look beyond traditional European and North American markets then there are also massive opportunities in Asia and Africa. And yes there are opportunities in US, EU as well for sure.

So this group also welcomes companies from anywhere in the world, looking to partner with the UK tech companies.

Any companies joining this group can contact me to see if there are any companies in my global network who can partner with them. I do not charge for such introductions.

Any startups who are members of this group and are looking for guidance or advice can also contact me whether it be in terms of technology, software architecture or solution, whether it be in terms of outsourcing or whether it be in terms of business development or channel, distribution strategies, essentially anything that pertains to a tech business. I would be happy to discuss, give initial advise or make introductions for no charge.
